To enhance the capability of community organizations to implement programs in health agriculture, the environment and poverty alleviation, and thus improve their welfare, health status, and standard of living, and through this effort ensure a sustainable system of community development.

Community Capacity Building Initiative (CCBI) was launched in 2001 as a Non Governmental Organization to contribute to the mitigation of poverty related problems by enhancing the capacity of communities to access and utilize knowledge and resources for the benefit of these communities.
